We do not engage in retail sales and all accounts are subject to approval. Credit Department: Questions regarding statements should be directed to our Accounts Receivable Department at 951-231-8529. Questions in regard to returns should be directed to our Returns Department at 318-255-6687. Freight: MTA will pay shipping on all normal orders over $75 within the continental 48 states. Freight must be pre-paid or freight collect on shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other countries. Any order(s) under $75 will incur a $9.75 freight charge. COD customers will pay a COD fee of $9.00 per shipping warehouse. To avoid COD charges, we accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover. MTA will make every effort to ship the same day if orders are placed before 4:30 p.m. Due to these conditions, orders can not be changed or added to once it has been billed, a separate order would have to be placed. Returned Checks and Refused Shipments: All returned checks and refused shipments will result in a $25.00 processing fee, which will be charged to the customer’s account. Merchandise Returns: Return authorization (RA) required. To request an authorization number or for pre-approval on all returns, please call the Returns Department at 318-255-6687. Returns for any reason other than “defective” or “not as ordered” will be charged a restocking fee. All returns are subject to inspection for determination of credit. Items being returned must be in original shipping materials with the RA number on the outside of the package. Products returned without an RA will be held or refused and returned to the dealer. All RAs issued will have ONLY 30 days from the issue date to be returned before the RA is voided. After 30 days, it will be the dealer’s responsibility to return items to be considered for credit whether the items are defective or not. All sales final on discontinued and closeout items. Damaged, Short and Over Shipments: MTA must be notified within 10 days of invoice and noted on paperwork by the truck driver if merchandise is damaged or short to insure proper credit. Backorders: All backorders will be automatically shipped when available unless you indicate NO BACKORDERS. Backorders over 30 days old are reconfirmed by phone before we ship. Warranties and Guarantees: MTA does not guarantee or warranty any items sold nor guarantee the merchantability and fitness of purpose. Manufacturers supply their own warranties and guarantees. They do not permit a wholesaler or distributor to make any adjustment, replace any part or accept for return or exchange any defective or unsatisfactory item. Please follow instructions provided by the manufacturer. Any damages arising from the design or manufacturing of any item are the sole responsibility of the manufacturer. Hazardous Materials: UPS charges an additional Hazardous Materials charge of $20.00 per ground package requiring shipping papers.
